Nice tutorial Brian.

One way to notice very fast if you are reusing  words is to start 
a session with
  protect-system
or add it to your user.r file.
It can prevent stoopid coding errors --  like the time I wrote
    return: true
rather than
    return true

(that failed much later than you'd expect, and in a very strange 
way)

no, not yet. It's definitely on the list though. Is that fairly straightforward 
with MakeDoc by any chance?

hmm... the code for that menu is simply not present in the article 
:-)

there will be a download...not everything is up yet.  The one-page, 
then a more complete one and the two spreadsheets will be in a downloadable 
archive.

It will work on View 1.2.1.. but without the buttons, although it 
could be made to show the buttons with a bit more work, but runs

Gregg did a lot of the work, he just was busy this past week so I 
finished the legwork on it.

work on it for a couple of more weeks and you'd have a spreadsheet 
that would be fully usable. this is so impressive.

spreadsheets soas not to tip off M$

how do you mean?

very interesting way to make spreadsheets. hard to explain, but involves 
column and row naming and grouping

the Quantrix Modeler is one of those tools that lift productivty 
to a new level and is ignored by the public. just like rebol :-(

I did some things that support something similar which I stripped 
out...but that's not all...;-)

Gregg did the macro language very clever so it builds everything 
dynamically.  Spins the most colorful propellers.

But a useful reminder for all of us to check our domains before it's 
too late.

And not to lose the email address to which the registrar sends reminders.....Email 
may be dead, but it's heart hasn't stopped beating yet.

you guys have to have pure services in US then?

In CZ, we have NIC - central registrant, which does not accept any 
registrations and is only coordinator and State has its xy % of value 
there. We have to choose between various certified registrant companies. 
I did choose globe.cz and they are fine. They do care, they pay to 
NIC.cz and then they request money from me. Before the domain expires, 
I am notified, if I have nothing agains payment of next period and 
if there is any info I want to change ...

I have also unified portal, where I can see all my domains (actually 
something as 7 or 8), I can change MX, DNS entries, FTP, hostings, 
etc. etc.

huh, did not try rebol.com untill now, that is really a bad for RT 
to forget to renew domain ;-)

Well, at least some refreshing new look after so long time :-))

I had to wait a week or more with my domain lapsed before networksolutions 
gave it up and allowed me to register it again with new registrar

they seemed somewhat reluctant to respond to my request to transfer 
to registrar while it was active

If you saw the original whois entry. it actually said it was expiring 
in 2006.

perhaps someone was messing with their internal clocks at Network 
Solutions ?
