A biological oil can... http://www.priweb.org/ed/pgws/systems/images/diatom.jpg

An algae (diatom) that stores it's excess energy as oil... Most scientists
agree that oil didn't come from dinosaurs, but from these.
Whereas an acre of canola, for example, can produce 100-150 lbs of
oil, it's estimated that an acre of algae can produce anywhere from
5000 lbs - 20,000 lbs of oil.
Algae oil is the richest source of DHA available, with 40 percent
DHA by weight. Algae are the dietary source of omega-3 fatty acids
for fish, so algae represents the only vegetable source of DHA available.
Algae oil is the source of the highest quality DHA supplements
Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) is an omega-3 fatty acid. It is needed
for the regulation all bodily functions and the breakdown of dietary
fats within the body. Several sources of information suggest that
man evolved on a diet with a ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acids
of approximately 1 whereas today this ratio is approximately 10:1
to 20-25:1, indicating that Western diets are deficient in omega
3 fatty acids compared with the diet on which humans evolved and
their genetic patterns were established DHA is essential for the
growth and functional development of the brain in infants.
The oil from algae can be converted to biodiesel as well..
Per the Department of Energy's statistics, each year the US consumes
roughly 60 billion gallons of petroleum diesel and 120 billion gallons
of gasoline

Flaxseed is another vegetable source of omegas. provides omega 3,
omega 6 & omega 9. with alpha-linolenic acid as the omega 3

I think flaxseed has higher Omega-3's than fish oil.
Problem with the fish oil is that it can go rancid within someone
depending on its delivery mechanisms plus has some side effects such
as bad taste and oders. I take fish oil but haven't noticed any
of those things but thats because of the deliver mech in the branding
I have. Also, another major side effect of some brands is mercury.
Not sure if the ones I'm taking are effected. However, I get pleny
of Algae also in the Chlorella I take. I knocked my blood pressure
down dramatically. My dad has bipolar and believes the Fish oil
is helping him tremendously.

was there anyone having problems with network (READ function mainly)
on W2K on scripts running for several hours?
my ex-collegue is using a script i wrote a couple years ago that
just does some reads every few minutes. it has been working fine
in the last couple years but now, after some W2K updates, it stops
being able to access the network after running for a few hours
i don't know the exact error he's getting, not sure it that can help.

Hey everyone,

How about a group called "Inspiration" where we could put links to
things that might serve as inspiration for futur REBOL apps or use...
such as MoonEdit or Jotspot.etc.

I just saw the "Opportunity" group. Has it been there for a while
and I never noticed it or did someone just create? It is in fact
very close to the use I had in mind for a "Inspiration " group...

Use your judgement ... if it's related to rebol and something totally
different, no one will mind
*not something totally different

how do to remove all variables ?
PeterWood
22-Feb-2005
[1222]
Try the unset function - http://rebol.com/docs/words/wunset.html

Generally, I find the core user guide at http://rebol.com/docs/core23/rebolcore.html
,

  the function dictionary at http://rebol.com/docs/dictionary.html
  ,

and the mailiing list archive at http://www.rebol.org/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/rebol/ml-index.r

very useful in finding the answers to such questions.

Micha: variables cannot be removed from any context, you can assign
to them another value, like none! or unset!

Although that could change by using the same avenues the info for
the ML is given to point ot AltME/Rebol3.

I get a core dump from rebol/altme every time I shut altme down

so I just leave it up and clean out the cores once in a while

but it is another reason not to forsake the mail list
or too strongly promote altme on linux... its great! except for the
core dump every time you use it
imagine what the /.ers would say

I was not implying stop the ML, but there are other ways to handle
this. My goal is one source of info, I consider both AltME, Email,
QTask, and many other things as simply mediums to diliver info.
