do http://www.colellachiara.com/soft/Misc/test-chord.r
launch at your risk, very very alpha code ;)
be sure to input a complete url when it asks you. udp://<your-ip-address>:2222
you can use a different port if you want to but you need to change
the code to listen on that
ok - shutting the bootstrap node down now. i have ironed out a couple
bugs but there's some work still to do. will do some testing again
tomorrow, if anyone can help...

Who would I talk to about linking rebol.org library to the rebol
editor that I am creating? I need rebol.org to dump its script that
are functions.
(that is 'scripts that are functions.')

due to a bug with UDP ports, we are forced to use HTTP for Chord
(this makes it many times slower)
anyway, i have the bootstrap node running right now. please try doing
the test script if you can receive TCP connections on port 2222
do http://www.colellachiara.com/soft/Misc/test-chord.r
when it asks you your public url, please use a url starting with
ahttp://
i.e. ahttp://youripaddress:2222
i'll be back soon to hear your comments.

There was an error!
(after input your public url)
which Rebol/View version are we allowed to use ?
Two tries with View 1.2.57.3.1e gave the same error, but now I am
in with Rebol/View 1.2.48.3.1
Got myself and met four people walking the ring. :)

Is it actually doing anything except testing connections ?
It hasn't died yet... :)
But only walked the ring at the beginning, since then, only checking
Ring status regularly.

did you know 69 hex = 01101001 which is also symmetrical? I use
that for a maybe flag.
a geek T-shirt could be "Wanna 01101001?" but only Selma would understand...
