These big ozone generators are hard to find locally - I wanted to
just rent one
But I'm gonna look into making a deal with my bro-in-law
He runs an autodealership
Maybe I can make a few bucks with it and decontaminate used cars
I'll just rent it out to him
You can actually by them for water purification also
and complete ductwork installed units
I always like to try new stuff - How I got into REBOL. :)
I found out that there are alot of people mis diagnosed with sinus
issues
Mayo clinic did a study which found out that over 90 percent of sinus
issues were related to fungus

How well does household bleach work for mold?

antibiotics don't work on those infections
I have read mixed things about it
I heard 1 part to 9 parts for the mix but that produces other irritiants

Bleach is okay for mold, eventually.

From what I have seen, household bleach kills it quite effectively.
But that's just my experience with it.

might not be a good solution if the person working on it has allergies
already or already effected

Repeated applications are necessary. Meanwhile, your sinuses will
be cleared like nobody's business.

I heard that bleached areas make surfaces for some molds more ideal
for growth after the bleach has dissipated

I've found that if you can keep it on long enough it will kill almost
anything, plus make your whites whiter too.

... and your walls

hehe
I used it
I started off using the bleach on the floors where I removed the
carpet
It has to kill something
the problem with alot of mold is that even if its dead it can still
produce mycotoxin dangers
so if the mold is not removed it can still cause a problem - which
is a problem with ionizers
ionizers just knock the spores to the ground or make them cling to
walls
HEPA filters make breading ground for bacteria
UV is too ineffective due to the airflow velocity
Although I think a good HEPA and Ozone solution is a good mix overall
the small ionic purifiers I bought I will most likely get rid of
they produce ozone but probably dangerious ozone with nitrogen oxides
Good site with alot of good info - > http://www.doctorfungus.org/index.htm
BTW - a high powered Ozone Generator is considered a biocide device

I know someone who had a water issue on their cement, and when they
started asking around about the white mold which was appearing on
the surface, they where told to leave the house and call a professional
cleaner... it turns out, killing the mold was easy, but when dying,
they released spores which are extremely dangerous and can suffocate
a majority of people before you have time to get to the hospital...
 :-(
it took 2 weeks before they where allowed to go back to their house,
after the cleaners came... they where also told that spores where
starting to erupt so within a few days, they would have started to
get really sick, just by the natural air traffic....

yep... then again, I'm shure you always a tingling fealing of "getting
ripped off" .... wondering if the cleaners are just doing scare tactics...
but I guess you're better safe than sorry...

the issue which was scarry, is that the source of the mold is unknown...
it was just a flood in the basement, like it had happened several
times before...

It's a simple REBOL script. Believe me, if I had time then I would
do it.
