One question .. currently if encapped applications hang, they drop 
to an unattractive console.  Can they be changed so that they quit 
altogether?

and perhaps just create a log event.

not hang, crash.

or allow hooking into an event so you can create a nice customized 
feedback requester thingy?

depending on the kind of crash, user defined handler may not be possible

however... search for this in rambo, and if not already there please 
add it. :)

I hate having people on the phone going  "I used your app and suddenly 
a white window with a lot of text in it popped up..."

some times you want a gui to  appear, but for server applications, 
you just want it to restart.

well, the lot of text case is usually an error, which you can trap 
with try. crashes usually produce just a short message. maybe an 
alert would be preferable...

option for no alerts, just write to a log

if you app is running as a windows service .. don't want to see any 
alerts

I can imagine with a complete rewrite of rebol there are going to 
be more unstable applications being written!

Please add the following to the FAQ.

- Rebol 3 will cost $N.
- Rebol 3 SDK will cost $N.
- Existing Rebol licenses will/will not be recognized.
- Rebol 3 will/will not be OS.

- Rebol 3 will include SDK distribution restrictions such as N, N, 
N and N.

The first thing that needs an overhaul is the license.

Having read about REBOL 3, here is my first request: I would like 
to have console-mode versions of /Core, /Pro and /Command for Windows, 
preferably compiled as relocatable. Although this would help with 
a few projects, the main reason I would like this is to make REBOL 
more compatible with Windows alternatives like SanOS and HX, for 
a single-floppy bootable REBOL server that can run in 16 MB ram or 
less. This may sound silly but I've wanted to do this for a while.
