Maxim 26-Apr-2006 [972] | actually, the nick could also not display its colon. |
Tomc 26-Apr-2006 [973] | very rude |
Maxim 26-Apr-2006 [974] | why? what's rude in "Maxim is tired" instead of "Maxim: is tired" ( using Henrik's example) |
Graham 26-Apr-2006 [975] | Let's move this discussion to the altme group guys :) |
Maxim 26-Apr-2006 [976] | sorry! |
Will 9-May-2006 [977] | Maarten, where is the osx version? ;-) |
Brett 9-May-2006 [978] | Maarten nice site. But "... Note that the sourcecode is published!" - um, where? |
Graham 10-May-2006 [979] | http://detective.surfnet.nl/SURFnetDetective.zip |
Maarten 10-May-2006 [980x2] | See the website: https://www.uitwisselplatform.nl/projects/detective/ |
WIll: See website. Gabriele will start researching it the next few weeks. We have an OSX encap without guarantees
Graham 10-May-2006 [982] | OSX has an encap? |
[unknown: 9] 10-May-2006 [983] | How do you think the OSX AltME was made? |
Graham 10-May-2006 [984x2] | AltME has an OSX version? |
oh well... I must have not been keeping up to date.
[unknown: 9] 10-May-2006 [986x2] | : ) |
I can't keep up either....
Brett 10-May-2006 [988] | Graham, thanks. Maarten, fyi on website I see "This Project Has Not Released Any Files". Maybe just me. Anyway have downloaded the zip, thanks. |
Maarten 10-May-2006 [989x3] | Anonymous Subversion Access This project's SVN repository can be checked out through anonymous access with the following command(s). svn checkout https://svn.uitwisselplatform.nl/svn/detective |
File distro will follow later
Graham's link is the 2.0 codebase!
Graham 10-May-2006 [992] | Maarten, you need to update the links then .. I just copied that from the surfnet webpages. |
Maarten 10-May-2006 [993] | Graham, you gotta hit refresh. Those links are gone since yesterday. |
Graham 10-May-2006 [994x2] | Maarten, do you have a trac for this project as well, or just the svn? |
Maarten, I was there yesterday!
Anton 24-Jun-2006 [996] | Rebolek, tried out Sintezar. Pretty good. Just noticed that you do not close sndport after main window is closed. |
BrianH 28-Jun-2006 [997] | Nice to hear about the grid. Sys-tray support in View can be done with the system port. I think Carl did a demo script. |
Pekr 28-Jun-2006 [998] | it can be done, but not with all features I wanted - ability to change icon state in regards to what is happening in the app (coloring, blinking), ability to slide mini window, when you mouse over it, reaction to left/right mouse click. If all that can be done, then ok, but it is acording to Cyphre. I don't mind if rebol systray support already supports that :-) |
Graham 28-Jun-2006 [999] | improved systray support .. viz. support mouse overs. and different icons |
james_nak 29-Jun-2006 [1000] | Sorry, got too excited and remarked in Announce Group (A big no-no). Anton, man, that is very cool. |
Anton 30-Jun-2006 [1001] | Thanks :) and I am here to solve any problems that crop up. |
james_nak 30-Jun-2006 [1002] | Thanks Anton. |
Anton 7-Jul-2006 [1003] | Not bad, Henrik. |
MikeL 7-Jul-2006 [1004] | Very nice toolbar utility and documentation Henrik. |
james_nak 7-Jul-2006 [1005] | Thanks Henrik. Quite cool. |
Robert 7-Jul-2006 [1006] | Henrik, cool stuff. Please, make a RebGUI version :-)) |
Henrik 7-Jul-2006 [1007x2] | unlike LIST-VIEW, Toolbar is much more depending on VID, but I'll see what I can do. |
(and thanks everyone!)
Gregg 8-Jul-2006 [1009] | Wow! Really nice Henrik. |
Henrik 11-Jul-2006 [1010x2] | Not nice enough... I've updated it to version 0.0.4 which basically is a rewrite to get rid of a lot of "magic numbers" and almost all VID dependencies. There's a new manual and the method for creating a toolbar has been changed. Demo has also been updated with a couple of new functions. The URLs are the same so look in Announce for those. |
a RebGUI version will not be far off, but I need some method to display layouts inside layouts for faces like search fields in the toolbar to work.
Brock 11-Jul-2006 [1012x3] | Henrik, very nice indeed. |
One comment on the sample 'face for the search field. If you turn off icons in your demo you are only left with the text for the icon - 'search' - and the field has disappeared with the other icons. What are your plans in this case?
My two cents, in this case you should have a way to either tell the field not to disappear. Maybe align the text followed by the field ie. Search [______] , or add/change this option to represent the icon and text horizontally and force the face portion to remain on screen when the 'Text' view mode is selected.
Henrik 12-Jul-2006 [1015] | I've been thinking about this and studied MacOSX behaviour which simply is to popup a window with the face contents when clicking on the "Search" text in the toolbar. This will come later. |
Pekr 13-Jul-2006 [1016] | Henrik - you produce really nice stuff, even UI wise. Now we have got kind of icon based tab panels :-) |
Henrik 13-Jul-2006 [1017] | well, it's nice to have MacOSX as a template for these things :-) |
Henrik 23-Aug-2006 [1018] | Gabriele: Repack reports a missing file in the QML-ED package |
Will 23-Aug-2006 [1019] | those are all the images with + & - |
Gabriele 23-Aug-2006 [1020x2] | i wanted to upload a zip but rebol.org discourages that. |
maybe it's a matter of url encoding to retrieve those files? the upload seemed to work.
