Anton, my LIKE? function generates parse rules, but I doubt it's
as advanced as yours, since it's just meant for simple pattern matching
and doesn't deal with multiple search targets.

Gregg, I think I recently made a function probably similar to your
LIKE?. Have you published that somewhere ?

But yes, multiple search terms are the next level up. To get the
full range of matching rules with multiple search terms will take
some work, however the basis is there.

It's on REBOl.org. I finally decided to publish it (it's old) when
I published my file-list script, which uses it.

Anton, I think line 437 should be:

	find-every-string: func [
func [

must of been accidentally deleted right before you sent the file.

My estimation is, that R3 (in some form) will be released for DevCon
2007
... including View, without some parts as Unicode etc., just new
architecture ....
hmm, pages for DevCon are down, so actually it is difficult to say,
wehn it will happen :-)

So now we know the target date for R3 release :-) DevCon 2007 holds
first conference session - By Carl Sassenrath - "Introducing REBOL

Paris is difficult to negociate unless you speak parisian... and
even then, many french will tell you paris is almost like a separate
country ;-)

we're probably going together with Cyphre so I should be there as
well. Unfortunately, languages I speak (ENU, DEU, RUS...) are probably
not very popular in France :) It's shame when people thinks their
native language is enough and refuse to learn something else(actually,
this is problem not only in France ;)

I don't mind translating french to/from for you guys ... just tag
me along , and pay the food ;-)
Note that I have a lot of fun trying to get French (especially in
paris) to understand quebec's dialect of french which can be as different
as irish and american ... :-)
they sometimes look at you with a numb expression... you can almost
see the gears working hard behind their eyes ;-)

I don't speak French...and do not face much problems moving around
Paris speaking English.

though... for Reichart's case, you will need to speak MUCH slower.

its funny because talk about visiting/working at any european country
with people and they usually all have good things to say...
talk about visiting/working in paris or some other big city in france
and many people will have a funny story about being rebuffed ...
fortunately, we all know that Rebolers from france are cool dudes
 :-)

I can speak only a few words of French but didn't have encounter
any problems, the few times I visited Paris.
Perhaps learning just a few words makes a difference ?

I really do think it depends on who you meet and why you go!
for my part, the first time I landed in Charles de Gaule airport,
I saw a lost traveler (french) asking for bus schedules, get screamed
at by the stewardess at the help desk... cause he asked twice! :-)

I got cut off in a line (as I was going to be served) waiting for
a train ticket in paris... twice in a row... I was soooo surprised
I didn't know how to react! I was then told a lot of people expected
you to start arguing or else they are right !

its just funny really. :-)

but my guess is that the more alien you are, the better people react
.
