Perhaps (getting into the messianic mania) it is no coincidence that
REBOL/Three is an anagram of Brother Lee .... Meaning (obviously,
Duh) the start of BROTHERLY LOVE.
We must all find lambs to lie down with an be counted.

Plenty of lambs here .. more than people
Yummy ... lamb chops

But if Brother Lee tries to lay down with me, he may see, that I'm
not a she.

steel predates liquid by 10 years!

Clearly you have applied ther heat since then. Molten?
Maxim

steel actually was a project before REBOL was a product.
well, you see the global project which a few know of is called plasma.
I think I once though of calling my other things solid stuff with
liquified versions.

More states of matter. Is there a gas in the offing?
Maxim

hehe... probably the name for my liquid net...
I actually was secretly thinking of calling it gas
but I don't know... at some point it seems to be a bit off the top.
(oops... over the top)
so I'll probably call liquid net something like pipeline

Gas is too formless, and everyone has some gas that immediately comes
to mind. It kind of stinks as a name.

hehe
its funny cause liquid is such a versatile methaphor so far... when
thinking about states, here is an example... the act of storing a
liquid so it gets saved for further restoration is called freezing.
its funny how 'obvious' the concept is visually.

For the selected developers, don't tell anyone that you are selected.
You don't know what jealous people (like myself) are capable of
:p Anyway, this news' gonna make me overjoyed for the whole weekend
at least.

Well, I did not expected to be on early release list, not even on
July 1st one. But - is this good enough to become a good guy? :-)

[3173]
what is microVID? :-)
Gabriele
2-Jun-2007
[3174]
microvid is a way to have a splash screen in the r3 alpha without
coding it directly with gobs :)
Pekr

[3175x2]
ah :-)
I have heard that you, Cyphre and Carl had some chat about new VID?
Is there any consensus? Or, path-to-follow defined? Will it be your
proposal implemented?
Graham

[3177]
Are we stuck with gobs then?
Gabriele

[3178x4]
graham, for the name you mean? i don't know if carl has taken a decision
yet.
petr, you hear too many things :P
anyway... we actually just chatted a bit while doing mvid.
we have ideas, we'll document them and we'll make sure we'll get
to a vid that people will like.
