Not caring about memory, if concepts eventually don't fit :-)

pekr, the current model is terribly slow and eats up a lot of memory

we've been discussing this with carl for more than one year, and 
he did compiutations to estimate memory use and so on... and in the 
end the simplest/best thing is a gob! type

no faces yet, but could be virtualized.

try getting more than 1-3 fps in full screen on a 1280x960 screen

of one gob can be a pointer to many gobs whcih will contain all the 
previous face constructs... like edge lets say.

Carl has an odd way of speaking English as well.

tomorrow you'll see globs, which actually seem like a 100% map to 
R3 gobs so far  :-)

me too.  words are fast.

When Carl speaks in Engish, he pauses a lot...but almost always before 
a noun....which he then makes louder....


He also stutters, and changes direction in the middle of his sentences.

I tried dictating him just now, and it is tough becuase of the way 
he speaks.  So if you don't speak English normally, it would be very 
tough.

used the bandwidth better.

What line speed do you have Anton? I'm on 1.5MB (ADSL) here.

YES! I'd be happy with pixelated video if it meant better sound quality.

there goes the focusing again...

My video is alternately blurring and clearing at ~ 1Hz and the sound 
cuts out when it blurs.

See, I had the same problem with my Logitech.
