I didn't want to use any cache in dbms.r to minimize data loss on
crashes. Maybe we could use memory tables in dbms3.r for something
like that.

Yes... when I started it i thought: "well, let's start with a
simple file stucture, and extend later". (I wanted it for a
mailer, so not much rows per table.) I never got around to extend
it... I'll do it now with version 3. :)
