I hope by "business applications" you mean those
large monolithic database/spreadsheet/web based
thingies that have to hang together for years
until they break under their own weight.
But many "business apps" in my mind are the
small "glue" type programs that greatly
facilitate the efficiency of an organization's
function, by bridging the gap between the
behemoth
business apps. We have a lot of need
for such tools here...
