[REBOL] Re: It's NOT Free.. (was) Re: Re: The future of Rebol -achieving critica

I think it is a bad idea. Especially with Core, as it is so contrary to established
perspectives. How about T-shirts and bumber stickers? I could use some.
How about a rebol.edu, where you can take rebol courses for $$. How about a "Licensed"
developer program, where developers who pass a certification, can pay to
get put on a list of "official developers" on your site. Even some type of use limitation?
Personally I have no objections paying for rebol, I just dont like the surprise. This
just contradicts previous statements about its use, damaging to yours and
my credibility. Its changing the rules in the middle of the game. IF I was under the
impression that there was going to be a charge for Core, then fine. But
I was under no such impression, and RT gave me reason to be. Now I am in a position
to rewrite alot of work, or tell some freinds, customers, and co-workers,
that they must pay RT some bones. I have'nt got into such arrangements with View yet,
largely because of its unkown licensing status during beta, but with
Core, I counted on that being free.
