Hmm. no good ideas. guessing.
first one needs to say
export MOZILLA_HOME=/usr/local/netscape/netscape
(note the "export")
And settings are local to shell, so i placed in in ~/.xinitrc and
restarted xwindows.
When i clear MOZILLA_HOME, its starts mozilla.
eventually it looks for mozilla instead of netscape by default?
my moz is at /usr/local/netscape/netscape .
what happens when you start /usr/local/netscape/netscape directly?
