[Scheme] vs. Rebol
[1/8] from: apwing::zonnet::nl at: 9-Sep-2004 12:30
Hi all,
since I am interested in how Scheme and Rebol relate, I was searching the
internet for it.
I found a lot of references (called "Scheme vs. Rebol") leading to the
following link: http://www.rebol.org/userlist/archive/205/393.html
However, the page seems to have vanished! Does somebody know where I can
find the original article?
Met vriendelijke groet / with kind regards,

I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something
about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is
purely destructive. We've created life in our own image. (Stephen Hawking)

Ah! Those were the days... :P
BTW, the GC bug referred in that email has been fixed in 2001 or
so I think. We'd still need some formalization though, as it can
be very useful to let the academic world understand why we are
better, and also help seasoned programmers (but REBOL newbies)
understanding REBOL faster.
Regards,
Gabriele.

Need to have Carl go do a talk at the Lightweight Languages workshop
(if they're doing another one this year). :)

Yes that's a great idea.
I was very sad not to see any Rebol prescence.
For those not familiar, do check out the substantive webcasts recorded for
2003 conference.
