[1/2] from: slok00::yahoo::com at: 11-Jul-2001 6:06
I install View on a win2k and a Linux machine and both
Views can't connect to the Internet.
My browser got no proxy configuration and it can
access
the Internet.
Does View connect to the Internet and access other
sites
using the HTTP or does it use other protocol/methods?
Thanks

Is this a first time use of View?
In console, can you do anything like:
read http://www.rebol.com
read dns://www.yahoo.com

Yes, Rebol/View Desktop uses http to connect to
the reb
. When you click on "local" it should
try to connect to http://www.rebol.com/index.r
