Ha! Cool ... btw - could you outline what is planned for 2.0 family? Or
just still in planning phase?

Besides sound being unlocked, what is interesting about compared to the
current View?

I see the word 'NATIVE! is still unset. (Going to report to
feedback right now.)

Hi ,
First of all thanks to Carl for this release ....
I do have a couple of things to note.
Should the browse function be disabled in this release?
Should we be closing down view programs with a quit now?
(When I run a view program from Windows explorer, on exit a console is opened.)
Cheers Phil

you can do

Now that's a teaser if ever there was one!
RT's move to a "release early and release often" culture bodes well for the
future. At the very least it gives folks the sense that "things are
happening" in the REBOL world. There is nothing worse for a new technology
than the perception that "things have gone real quiet lately".

Ashley

Hello rebolers,
Just tried this from view1.2.10 console (W98) :
>> browse %/c/windows/bureau/vocab.html
and got :
** Script Error: Feature not available in this REBOL
** Near: browse %/c/windows/bureau/vocab.html
It works fine under view1.2.8 ...
Is this a bug ?

Anton.

Very funny feature!
WIN XP:

>> browse "dir&&ping 127.0.0.1"
It is a 'call replacement to start external programs!
