Hi,
so I clicked the wrong link on pcmag.com website, and got to some post
relational database era database talk :-) It leads to:
http://www.lazysoft.com
http://www.lazysoft.com/associativemodel/default.htm
Has anyone heard of it already?
.... just a curiousity for those of use who participated in Rebol-db
discussions here :-)
Cheers,

no.. but fascinating. thanks!
I just read the whitepaper pdf:
http://www.lazysoft.com/docs/whitepaper/2000amdwhitepaper2.pdf
and peeked at the onloine java versoin of hsi first implentation:
Sentences
It seems like a natural fit for REBOL, offering a tangible approach to the
and often promtoed example of dialecting:
<quote>
sell 500 shares of "Microsoft" if above $130 a share
It's not English, even though it sounds like English,
Sassenrath said.
Indeed, the company's press release describes it as being only
English-like.

I had been wonderign how to jump from that charming idea to the reality of
implementing it. Simon Williams' Associative Model feels right...
Q0: What's wring with this picture?
Q1: Is this really new or is he reinventing a wheel with a fresh vocabulary?
Q2: Does this tally with the recent detaield discussion rebel database, or
is it a fresh approach?

I like it so far. I *must* implement it in Rebol.

Hi Andrew,
Well you better read their patent application then I guess :)
I like the idea too. Though, I thought their idea was not much different
from straight logic theory. Prolog people could
possibly confirm or deny this.
Brett.
