selecting a directory

Is there a switch to request-file, or another function that
allows on to select a directory as opposed to a file?

Try slash-dot Graham. (: ...
request-file/file %public/.

Hi Carl,
This still only allows me to select a file as opposed to a
directory.
In the meantime, I've copied some code off an old version of
Anton's dir-utils and used his 'cd function in my
ftp-dirupload.r script.

Ah - sorry, I see what you mean now. You want a request-dir function.
Yeah, I think you'll have to find or write one. Entering a %. in
the empty file-name box will do the trick, but that's hardly elegant.
